Teach First

Teach First is an independent charity with a mission to address educational disadvantage by transforming exceptional graduates into inspirational, effective teachers and leaders in all fields. Through their Leadership Development Programme, participants become inspiring teachers, leaders, role models and agents of change. They gain valuable leadership development to prepare them for influential careers, either in education or elsewhere.

Christ Church enthusiastically supports the Teach First Leadership Development Programme and is able to offer a limited number of bursaries to finalists and completing graduates who are accepted on to Teach First. This year both Laura Curling (née Ellis) and Lloyd Crowther were awarded Christ Church Teach First Bursaries and we wish them every success.
