Open Days

We run Open Days for prospective applicants in June and September, coinciding with the University Open Days. The Tutor for Admissions, the Admissions Administrator, the Access and Outreach Officer, subject tutors and undergraduates will be available to answer your questions. There is accommodation for students travelling from a distance. The days will include talks on the admissions process, demonstrations of mock interviews, subject tutor sessions, and guided tours of the college. Please email admissions@chch.ox.ac.uk for booking information. Online booking will be available nearer the time.

Visiting Christ Church

If you can't make our Open Days or other events, you are welcome look round the college throughout the year (college opening times can be found here). It's helpful to arrange this with us in advance (email admissions@chch.ox.ac.uk), particularly if you're bringing a big group. You should come to Tom Gate on St Aldate's, under the clock tower (see the map at the bottom of the page for directions), and tell the staff on the gate that you are a prospective applicant.

Come along to our Modern Foreign Languages Taster Day (booking now open)

We are excited to be hosting our first ever Modern Foreign Languages Study Day on Thursday 16th March 2017. This event is open to all Y11 and Y12 students in UK state/maintained schools or sixth-form colleges who are interested in finding out more about what it’s like to study languages and/or linguistics at university. This is a great chance to visit a beautiful Oxford college while finding out more about what a degree in languages and/or linguistics could have to offer you. This event is also open to any teachers interested in finding out more about applying for language courses at Oxbridge and other top universities.

The day will begin at 10:30am with an action-packed programme of taster lectures and workshops led by Oxford students and tutors, with a 3.30pm finish. This event is free of charge and lunch in Hall will be provided. For full details please see here

To register for this event please complete our booking form, which can be found here. Please note booking will close at 12 noon on Thursday 9th March. We recommend you register as early as possible to avoid disappointment. For any queries please contact Lynton Lees, Christ Church's Access and Outreach Officer (lynton.lees@chch.ox.ac.uk).
