» Access Initiatives
Christ Church is keen to work with underrepresented schools and colleges from the maintained sector in order to raise academic aspirations, demystify life at Oxford, and encourage applications from bright students, whatever their school or background.
Our access programme is aimed at students in year 9 upwards, along with their teachers, careers advisors, parents and carers.
Events and activities include presentations in schools and colleges, informal visits to Christ Church, and the Pathways Programme (see below).
We are particularly keen to make contact with schools with little or no history of sending students to the University of Oxford.
Christ Church is pleased to be able to collaborate with other colleges in Oxford on the Pathways Programme.
The Oxford Pathways Programme is a series of free events for students in years 10-13 at targeted state schools in the UK. These events provide information and advice to students who have the potential to achieve Oxford's entry requirements. If you have any questions about the programme, or would like to find out if your school is eligible, please contact the Pathways Coordinators.
For further details on any of the events listed on the following pages, or to make a booking, please contact the Access and Admissions Officer, on 01865 276196 or at: firstname.lastname@example.org
