We can offer Secondary pupils visits which focus on the life of Christ, Cathedral Life, Pilgrimage, the Reformation, or Christ Church and the Victorians. We also offer pupils a unique chance to interview and interact with one of our theologians or Canons.
Grill a Canon
Come and meet one of our senior cathedral clergy. This is your chance to ask them exactly what they think about ... well, anything you want!
This visit includes a half hour guided tour of the Cathedral and a Question and Answer session. The visit lasts in total around an hour and a half. You may like to think about possible questions beforehand.
This visit depends on the availability of our clergy, so please book as far in advance as possible.
This visit is very flexible in the way it ties into the KS3-4 RE and GCSE syllabuses, offering possibilities of covering the following:
- Study of Christianity
- A religious community of local significance
- Beliefs and concepts
- Global issues, rights and responsibilities and how this is impacted by faith
- Identity and belonging to a faith community
- Meaning, purpose and truth; the ultimate questions of life
- Values and commitments in faith-based living
