The Friends of the Cathedral

Who Are We?

The Friends of Christ Church Cathedral are concerned to foster and promote links between the cathedral and individuals, both from the Diocese of Oxford and other parts of the world. In consultation with the Cathedral Chapter, we have contributed to the maintenance and beautifying of this Church, which in turn has aided its life and witness.

What Do We Do?

Over the years the Friends have sponsored social events which bring them into close touch with each other and the Cathedral. These include a summer outing to other cathedrals, a summer party in the Hall and gardens of Christ Church and a Christmas party in the Hall.

How can you join?

Individuals can become Friends and agree to pay a minimum subscription of £10.00 per annum, or, if you wish, £200 for a life Membership. Corporate or Joint membership (for a school or organisation, or for two persons living at the same address) is £15.00 per annum.

Will you please join us in this enterprise or, if you are already a member, persuade someone else to join? Please fill in a membership application form. If you are a tax payer, please also complete the gift aid declaration. You may also make payments by Banker's Order.
