Christ Church's Savitri Grier, a music student in her first year, won the prestigious Oxford Concerto Competition at the Sheldonian Theatre on Saturday February the 4th.

New Undergraduate and Graduate members of Christ Church took part in the customary 'University Matriculation' ceremony on Saturday 16th October at the Sheldonian Theatre, to become members of the University of Oxford. Dressed in 'Sub-fusc' they were presented alongside those from other colleges.

Kepler Energy has been spun out from Oxford University to develop a second-generation tidal turbine, Isis Innovation has announced. Its developers claim the turbine has the potential to harness tidal energy more efficiently and economically as it is simpler, more robust and more scalable than current designs.
