Academic Background

I studied French and Philosophy at Christ Church from 1999-2003, before completing an MA by Research (MRes) at Royal Holloway, University of London in 2005-6. I recently submitted my PhD thesis at Birkbeck, University of London.

Undergraduate Teaching

French language and literature for both Prelims and FHS.

Research Interests

Late nineteenth-century French poetry, Decadence, philosophical influences on French literature.

Publications include

Hobbies

Rock-climbing, hiking, cycling.
