Baptism and Confirmation
If you would like more information about how the church understands baptism and confirmation, or would like to see copies of the services authorised for use, please click here to go to the Church of England website's information on baptism and confirmation. This will open in a new browser window. Baptism and Confirmation for AdultsIf you are a member of the college and wish to affirm your faith by being confirmed (or baptised and confirmed), the College Chaplain will discuss preparation and options for the service with you. Sometimes baptisms take place at Sunday College or Cathedral services, or at the Easter Vigil service on Easter Eve along with Members of the Cathedral Choir and other young people from the college and cathedral community. On other occasions it may be appropriate to travel to a local church for the service of Baptism and Confirmation if the timing is more suitable. For more information contact the College Chaplain, Reverend Ralph Williamson: ralph.williamson@chch.ox.ac.uk.
