College ChoirThe College Choir is made up of about twenty five undergraduate and graduate students, and occasionally members of staff. It is run by junior members who plan a programme of services and concerts each year, under the overall responsibility of the Chaplain. The College Choir is led by William Waine, who is an undergraduate at Christ Church and an Academical Clerk in the Cathedral Choir.

The Cathedral is our College Chapel, and the Choir are privileged to have such a wonderful venue in which to sing. They take a regular part in the worship of the Cathedral by singing Evensong most Mondays in term time, as well as singing at services specifically for the college. They are rewarded with free drinks and dinner in Hall after the service, but the music and the social life which revolves around it are the real reward for those who sing. Auditions are held at the start of Michaelmas term for anyone who would like to join, but can be arranged at any time.
In the last few years the College Choir has sung at St Paul's, Salisbury, Coventry, Winchester, Canterbury, Hereford, Lincoln, Lichfield, Truro, Gloucester and Worcester Cathedrals, as well as at Trinity College Cambridge, Westminster Abbey, St George's Chapel, Windsor and Tewksbury Abbey. These services give us a valuable opportunity to contribute to the worship of the wider church.
