Stephen is one of the country's leading choral conductors, with a vast discography to his name. He also edits and writes about a range of music from the Renaissance to the present day. In college he teaches techniques of composition, history of music, and supervises dissertations.

Jonathan has research interests in 20th- and 21st-century music, especially Stravinsky and Birtwistle; modernism; and theory & analysis. He has published five books on these topics. In college he teaches undergraduates the history of music, analysis, musical thought & scholarship, and supervises BA and MSt dissertations. He currently supervises four DPhil candidates.

David’s principal area of research is in French secular music of the 13th and 14th centuries. He also works on a range of music since the 18th century, including jazz. He remains active as an organist and composer. In college he teaches techniques of composition, keyboard skills, analysis, history of music, jazz studies, and composition.
