For several months each year the college makes available its accommodation, catering services, meeting rooms and the services of an experienced staff for conferences, meetings and seminars. The setting, the exceptional facilities and the professionalism of our staff make Christ Church the perfect venue for all kinds of events.
Over the last few years the special programmes of events and conferences organised by Christ Church have attracted a great deal of interest and much praise. We also have our own Facebook Group that has regular updates on all of our forthcoming conferences. It can be found at www.facebook.com in the groups section as 'Christ Church Events'.
Christ Church is centrally located, in the beautiful City of Oxford, close to all amenities as well as to excellent transport links. Guests are accommodated in Christ Church’s comfortably modernized bedrooms. These are located in buildings of architectural and or historical interest either beside lawned quadrangles, overlooking gardens or the Meadow.
Built in 1991 as a joint development between Christ Church and Corpus Christi College, the Liddell Building offers self-catering accommodation in a peaceful central location, approximately five minutes’ walk from the town centre. Single bedrooms are available in four bedroom flats with a shared kitchen, dining area and bathroom.
Christ Church invites you to take afternoon tea in the exclusive surroundings of its Great Hall. Tea will be served on High Table with up to 30 guests. There is an optional Behind-the-Scenes Tour of Christ Church, which will include an explanation of the many Christ Church associations which inspired Lewis Carroll’s Alice stories.
