Our May and June teas are both fully booked, but we plan to offer more dates in the autumn.

Christ Church invites you to take afternoon tea in the exclusive surroundings of its Great Hall.  The tea will be carefully crafted by our Chefs to reflect our unique association with Alice in Wonderland.

Tea will be served on High Table with up to 30 guests.  There is an optional Behind-the-Scenes Tour of Christ Church, which will include an explanation of the many Christ Church associations which inspired Lewis Carroll’s Alice stories. 

As the tea is specially created we are not able to offer any special dietary requirements. Guests are requested to arrive 10 minutes before the start of their event via the main Tom Gate, St Aldate’s, Oxford, OX1 1DP, and must bring their booking form. Those booking the pre-tea tour will be met at Tom Gate at 1330 hrs and the Tour will start promptly at 1345hrs.

The tea and tour are suitable for adults and accompanied children aged 10 years and over.  Alcohol will only be served to  those aged 18 years and over.  Proof of age may be requested.

Please note that all tickets are non-refundable. 

Oxford-based Alice expert Mark Davies will be speaking at the teas on 4 June.  He is also organising Alice in Wonderland walks on a number of dates.  More information about the walks is available here.
