Christ Church held an Investment Forum and drinks reception on Wednesday 27th October 2010 starting at 6pm at ING's London head office.
The Treasurer, James Lawrie, briefly review edChrist Church's asset allocation and investment performance, and Karl Sternberg (1988) gave a presentation on OXIP, the investment company established nearly five years ago by five Oxford colleges. Finally Jody Fink, Co-Director of Global Consulting at Cambridge Associates, Boston, led a discussion on trends in US endowment and foundation management, examining the historical performance of US educational endowments and how they expect to achieve future returns in excess of inflation.
We were also very pleased to welcome Sir John Ritblat of Delancey, Keith Breslauer, Founder & Senior Partner of Patron Capital, and Kevin Street (1989) from Darwin Private Equity, who were available to talk to Old Members about some of the unlisted funds in which OXIP is investing.
From 7.15pm there was a drinks and canapés reception through to about 8.00 pm.
