Don't Look Back!

Coinciding with the congress of spine surgeons at Christ Church, this drawings exhibition from the gallery’s permanent collection  showed a number of drawings of the back. Choosing works for this show made us realise how much interest artists had in the back-figure. Works in the show included drawings by Carlo Maratti, Annibale Carracci, Jacopo Tintoretto and many more.
