Fantastically Real: 16th & 17th Century drawings from Bologna

Bologna was one of the most important centres of Italian art and is particularly known as the cradle for life-drawing. This exhibition will explore Bolognese drawings from Christ Church’s own collection, among them Bartolommeo Passarotti, the Carracci, Guido Reni, Domenichino, Guercino and the only female Old Master in the Christ Church collection Elisabetta Sirani.
