CURRENT EXHIBITION: Five Drawings by Federico Barocci (c. 1533 - 1612)

This important event introduces the British public to one of the greatest artists of the late 16th century. To tie in with this seminal London exhibition Christ Church Picture Gallery shows five drawings by Federico Barocci from its own collection. These charming studies of heads, all in coloured chalks, are typical examples of the artist's fluid and dazzling style.
