Mathematics SocietyThe Christ Church Mathematics Society was set up informally in 2005 with the remit to provide an environment where the whole of Christ Church’s mathematics school could interact in both academic and social endeavours. Membership of the society is open to all undergraduate and graduate mathematicians currently studying at Christ Church, tutors and Junior Research Fellows in mathematics, along with alumni of all these constituents. Run by a small committee comprising a representative from each of the year groups along with a member of the teaching staff, the Society organises at least one event per term. There is an annual lecture and mathematics dinner, to which the whole society is invited.
