Home Learning Scheme Party

The Blue Boar Seminar Room was packed with parents, children and student volunteers yesterday for the annual Home Learning Scheme party. The Home Learning Scheme is a highly successful tutoring and mentoring project through which over fifty children are visited at home and helped with their studies each week by a Christ Church student. The scheme is greatly valued by young people and their parents, and by the volunteers who really enjoy from regularly spending time with a normal Oxford family.
