Mercury

For the last few weeks Tom Quad has been strangely quiet as the pump which operates the four water jets of the fountain in Mercury had broken. Now the pump has been repaired and the sound of gently falling water has returned, bringing back to life one of Christ Church's most valued features and one of Oxford's most famous places.
