Mary Bide leaves the Cathedral

The Cathedral Precentor, the Revd Mary Bide, says goodbye to Christ Church and the Oxford Diocese at Easter as she leaves to take up a position as  Team Rector at St Mary’s Church in Wimbledon from 5th of May.

As Precentor Mary’s main role has been to prepare, plan and direct the worship and liturgy at Cathedral services. Mary says she will miss life at the Cathedral, which has been ‘hugely interesting’, but is looking forward to the new challenges that a city parish will bring. We wish her fulfilment in her new position.
