University Challenge Triumph!

A team of Christ Church students has won the coveted University Challenge TV Quiz competition. The Christ Church members Max Kaufman, Susannah Darby, Charles Markland and Alex Bubb beat a team from Sheffield University in the final of the competition, by 220 points to 170. The programme, hosted by Jeremy Paxman, was broadcast  at 8pm on Monday the 3rd of March, on BBC2. We congratulate the team for this outstanding achievement.

Christ Church's team had won their previous rounds against Homerton College, Cambridge, Nottingham, Warwick and Manchester Universities. For the next few days you can watch the programme on the BBC's iPlayer here .
