At the last day of Summer 8's, as Oxford colleges battled it out on the river, Christ Church's first Mens 8 rowed home to a almost leisurely victory, gaining for Christ Church the headship of the river which they last held in 1985. After a dinner in Hall, the customary ceremony of the burning of a boat took place along with approriate celebrations. We congratulate all Christ Church's rowers, men and women, for their outstanding perfomance this week.
