Over twenty children took part in 'Alice Day' activities at Christ Church cathedral on Saturday. The event, part of the Story Museum's Alice day activities throughout Oxford, began with Alice games, and was followed by tea with 'Eat Me' cake and an experience of the story of Alice from the gardens where she played as a child. Cathedral staff led the events, dressed as Alice, the Red Queen and the Mad Hatter.
Other children had the opportunity to make Victoriangames, and the morning concluded with a fancy dress competition, judged by the Archdeacon of Oxford, who declared (in keeping with the Alice story) that everyone was a winner and that everybody should have a prize.
