New Licensed Lay Minister for Cathedral team

A new minister will be joining the team at the Cathedral early in the new year. Janet Proudman is to become the first Cathedral Licensed Lay Minister (LLM). Janet has been a Day Chaplain at the Cathedral for many years, alongside her service as an LLM at St Mary and St John and St Alban's in the parish of Cowley St John. She is also part of the Hospital Chaplaincy team at the John Radcliffe and the Churchill Hospitals in Oxford.

In her new voluntary role Janet will lead the day chaplaincy team, assist with our educational and pastoral work and have a regular place in the leadership of worship.

She will be commissioned as Cathedral LLM at the Festal Eucharist for Epiphany at 6pm on Saturday 6 January, at which the preacher will be the Revd Canon Dr Margaret Whipp, Lead Chaplain, Oxford University Hospitals Foundation Trust.

All are of course welcome.
