Library Publications

Among the many exciting things that Christ Church Library does increasingly well these days is publishing. The Library's publishing program draws upon the research conducted on its rich collections of manuscripts and early printed books. What informs our work in this respect is the need to produce new and important tools for research. We aim to bring forth titles that make major contributions to scholarly debate, principally in the fields of bibliography, book history and manuscript studies.

Our books are generously illustrated with images captured and processed in the Library's state-of-the-art imaging studio and we take pride in our high design and production values. The most recent publications include detailed and extensively illustrated descriptive catalogues of manuscripts, studies on various collections, exhibition catalogues, and scholarly monographs.
