Admissions Feedback

In the 2019 admissions round, Oxford University received 14,087 applications and made 3,044 offers. The Oxford admissions process is very competitive and unfortunately we are unable to offer many strong applicants a place.

We have created a set of resources to support prospective students with their future applications, including suggestions of how to explore beyond school, top tips for writing a personal statement, and videos of interview-like situations.

We are also able to provide subject-specific feedback from the previous admissions cycle (those who applied in October 2019) which we hope will help prospective students and teachers better understand the process. Uploaded feedback can be found in the downloads box on the right-hand side of the page.
