Open Days, Events, and Important Dates

Open Days

We run Open Days for prospective applicants in June (27th and 28th June 2018) and September (14th September 2018), coinciding with the University Open Days. There will be talks and lectures and the Tutor for Admissions, the Admissions Administrator, the Access and Outreach Officer, Schools Liaison Officer, subject tutors and undergraduates will be available to answer your questions. There is accommodation for students travelling from a distance. The days will include talks on the admissions process, demonstrations of mock interviews, subject tutor sessions, and guided tours of the college. Please email admissions@chch.ox.ac.uk for information.

We are now fully booked for formal talks and accommodation for the forthcoming open days, however you are still welcome to visit the college, meet the tutors on a drop-in basis, have a tour and tea and coffee. Parents are welcome to attend the parents' talks and they do not need to book.

Visiting Christ Church

If you can't make our Open Days or other events, you are welcome look round the college throughout the year (college opening times can be found here). It's helpful to arrange this with us in advance (email admissions@chch.ox.ac.uk), particularly if you're bringing a big group. You should come to Tom Gate on St Aldate's, under the clock tower (detailed information is available on our Find Us page), and tell the staff on the gate that you are a prospective applicant.

Christ Church is located in the heart of Oxford. The main entrance is on St Aldates, under Tom Tower (OX1 1DP). It is a 15-20 minute walk from the railway station and a 10-15 minute walk from the bus station (see below). No parking is available in the College and driving is not recommended, Oxford has a Park and Ride scheme, which motorists are encouraged to use. We are happy to make special arrangements for the physically disabled, please do contact us before you commence your journey.
