Open Days, Events, and Important Dates

Open Days

We run Open Days for prospective applicants in July and September, coinciding with the University Open Days. There will be talks and lectures and the Tutor for Admissions, the Admissions Officer, the Access, Outreach and Schools Liaison Officer, subject tutors and undergraduates will be available to answer your questions. There is accommodation for students travelling from a distance and school groups. The days will include talks on the admissions process, demonstrations of mock interviews, subject tutor sessions, and guided tours of the college.

On Friday 20 September we are offering a programme of events for prospective applicants designed for students applying to Oxford this year for entry in October 2020 or deferred entry in 2021. The Tutor for Admissions, Admissions Officer, Access and Schools Liaison Officer, subject tutors and undergraduates will be available to answer your questions about our courses, college life, and the admissions process. You will also have the opportunity to look around the college with some of our current undergraduate students

Booking is advisable for the talks, although there may be space on the day.

Students and teachers should book at:

Bookings cannot be taken by email or telephone.

There is limited accommodation available (free of charge for students and teachers).  This is intended for students and teachers who live too far away to make a return journey to Oxford in one day. We will send you a confirmation email with details which you must bring with you and show at the Porters’ Lodge when you arrive at the College.

We regret that there is no parking available in Christ Church.

If after booking you are unable to attend, please let us know straight away by email to so that your place may be offered to someone on the waiting list. Demand for places exceeds our available capacity, and “no-shows” inconvenience both us and those who have to be turned away.
