Women in PPE Day 2021

Christ Church is delighted to be hosting our annual Women in PPE Study Day on Tuesday 1 June 2021. This year, it will be taking place online using Microsoft Teams.

What are we offering?

The online event will include an introduction to Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford and taster sessions in each strand of the subject. Participants will also have a chance to attend a Q&A with tutors and current students. The event will start at 2pm and finish at about 5pm.

In previous years, interactive lectures were given on ‘Symbols in Politics’ and ‘Democracy, War, and Peace’.

Who is the event for?

We welcome applications from Year-12 students, whose gender identity includes woman, who are considering applying to study Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Oxford. We will be prioritising applications from students who attend state-maintained schools in the UK.

How to apply?

Click here to apply. We will close applications a week before the event on Tuesday 25 May at noon.
