We are delighted to offer a range of events and activities:
- Professor Steven Grahl, Organist and Official Student in Music, will be playing a programme of harpsichord music by William Byrd in the beautiful Chapter House. Complementing the music will be a short talk and a display about the manuscripts of William Byrd, held in the Christ Church Library, which have recently been digitised. Part of Meeting Minds*
- To mark the great achievement of W1 rowers going Head of the River for the first time at this year’s Eights, and M1 rowers going Head of the River at Torpids, we encourage former members of the ChCh Boat Club to get out on the river, and to join us in the Buttery for further celebrations.
- Tea and croquet will be available, as well as Alice in Wonderland and Harry Potter tours for younger guests.
Evensong is at 6pm, and the Buttery bar will open for those who wish to sit and chat, and to purchase pre-dinner drinks. Dinner starts at 7.30pm, dress is smart casual, and all over the age of 12 are welcome.
Wines and other drinks may be purchased from the Buttery which will be open from 6.30pm until midnight.
