Talk / Lecture

In 1931-33, Einstein lectured on relativity in Oxford, received an honorary degree and had rooms in Christ Church, before fleeing his home in Nazi Germany to the USA. For the centenary of general relativity (1915-2015), Einstein biographer Andrew Robinson reflects on relativity, Einstein's intriguing relationship with Oxford and the puzzle of his universal fame.

The presentation will last for around 50 minutes, with an opportunity for questions at the end. All are welcome to attend.
