9.30 am: Meet at 21 Richmond Rd, Oxford OX1 2JL

9.45 am-10.30 am:Synagogue Visit and Talk (‘Oxford University and the Jewish community’) by Sarah Montagu, Oxford Jewish Congregation.

10.30 am - 11.15 am: Walk along part of the Jewish Quarter trail.

11.15 am - 12pm: Coffee in the Town Hall, the former home of David, a Jew who lived in Medieval Oxford. St Aldates used to be called Great Jewry Street. Visit the Oxford Stand Up to Racism Exhibition. The “Never Again” exhibition, helps to bring key HMD issues up to date, with recent and current prejudices and genocides.

12pm: Inter-faith Service at Town Hall

12.55-1.40pm: Simple buffet lunch at Christ Church (McKenna Room)

1.40-2.30pm: Talk (‘Suffer the little children… receiving children before and after the Holocaust’) by Professor Paul Weindling, Oxford Brookes University.

2.30- 3pm Stand Together: Seminar Discussion on this year’s HMD theme, chaired by Jackie Holderness, Christ Church Cathedral Education Dept.

3.15- 3.45pm A short, reflective meditation in the Cathedral with Revd Bede Gerrard

3.45pm Depart
