The attraction of Christ Church in early photographic postcards

Postcards are equally ephemeral as they are collectable. Recently they have been recognised as fruitful objects for academic research, be it as photographic images or records of social interaction and change. This display of over 70 postcards focuses on images of Christ Church – many of them mailed between 1899 and 1953.
