Summer Lecture Series on Science and Religion

Christ Church Cathedral is to run a series of summer lectures on the subject of science and religion.

The lectures take place at 4.30pm on Wednesday afternoons, beginning on Wednesday 17 July. The first lecture will be delivered by Dr Allan Chapman, who will be speaking on the subject: Fibs, Fictions and Fake History: Science's Conflict with Religion?

As usual they bring together a wealth of experts to tackle subjects within a broad theme. Dr Chapman's talk will be followed by lectures given by, amongst others, the Revd Professor Alister McGrath, the Revd Professor Keith Ward, and Professor John Hedley Brooke.

The lectures are FREE to attend, and form part of the Cathedral's ongoing public engagement programme.
