Poet Vahni Capildeo elected to an Honorary Studentship

Vahni Capildeo is a distinguished Trindadian-British poet whose work has repeatedly attracted the attention of poetry prize committees. They were elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature in 2019. 

Vahni Capildeo read English at Christ Church and went on to study for an MSt and DPhil in Oxford. Their most recent work includes Measures of Expatriation (2016), which won the 2016 Forward Prize, and Venus as a Bear (2018).
