Multiple Masters: French prints after paintings, 1700 – 1900
26th January – 15th April 2007

For over two centuries, French printmakers specialised in the reproduction of paintings. This exhibition presents their varied interpretations through lithographs, etchings and photography as well as traditional engraving.

Events

A very successful Study Day on the topic of the reproductive print was held at the Maison Française on 3rd March 2007, to co-incide with the Multiple Masters exhibition.

For information on who spoke at the study please see the Study Day Programme.
