Academic background

I am a Research Fellow at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies (OIES). Before joining OIES I was a Lecturer in the Engineering Department at City, University of London. Prior to my tenure at City, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Engineering Department at University of Oxford and an Oxford Martin Fellow. My diverse experience extends to the industry as well; I previously worked at the Smart Grid & Technology Department at Commonwealth Edison (ComEd) in Chicago, Illinois – a unit of Exelon Corp. that serves approximately 3.8 million customers. 

Undergraduate teaching

At Christ Church I mainly teach Mathematics in the Engineering Course.

Electricity market design, energy transition, regulation of electricity networks, demand side flexibility and consumer participation, renewable energy
