Academic background
I completed all my degrees at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. My PhD featured one year at the European Southern Observatory (ESO) in Garching, Germany. I then moved to Durham, UK for a three-year post-doctoral research position, before coming to Oxford as a Hintze Fellow in Astrophysics.
Other interests and activities
I play football any chance I get. I also enjoy playing most other sports, and running. I have played drums for 20+ years, and love all things music.
