University Matriculation

University Matriculation. Photo RWNew Undergraduate and Graduate members of Christ Church took part in the customary 'University Matriculation' ceremony on Saturday 16th October at the Sheldonian Theatre, to become members of the University of Oxford. Dressed in 'Sub-fusc' they were presented alongside those from other colleges.

ARC International Cathedral Welcomers

A group of young adults drawn from across Europe are working in the cathedral from July 17th to August 5th, offering guided tours in a range of languages.

Rambert Ballet School

From 19-22 July The Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance return to the cathedral this summer with performances at 12noon and 2pm on Wednesday 20 July and Friday 22 July, and at 1pm and 3pm on Tuesday 19 July and Thursday 21 July.

Teach First Success

At a ceremony in the Deanery on 22 June, the Dean presented finalists Tom Middlehurst and Juan McLean with the inaugural Christ Church Teach First Bursaries.


Richard Wade-Martins' Parkinson's break through

Christ Church medical tutor Richard Wade-Martins' research team have begun creating a bank of artificially-grown brain cells from Parkinson’s patients to try to find a cure for the disease, reports the BBC this week.
