A group of young adults drawn from across Europe are working in the cathedral from July 17th to August 5th, offering guided tours in a range of languages.

From 19-22 July The Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance return to the cathedral this summer with performances at 12noon and 2pm on Wednesday 20 July and Friday 22 July, and at 1pm and 3pm on Tuesday 19 July and Thursday 21 July.

Michelle Obama visited Christ Church on Wednesday May 25th. In the Great Hall she addressed students from the University of Oxford and pupils from the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson language college in Islington, and answered their questions.

On Sunday 22nd of May seventy five cyclists made the journey from London to Christ Church in Oxford to raise money for the Christchurch New Zealand disaster appeal. It was a great day and by the evening the cyclists had already raised £15,835. They set off at lunchtime and all but two made the whole trip.
