Karen has been involved in this role as a volunteer at the Cathedral for two years.

'I initially became involved supporting the To Be a Pilgrim project for Primary Schools. Over the course of the year, we welcomed many children and adults.'

'It was wonderful to share the history of the cathedral, the stories within the stained-glass windows and to take time at the shrine of St Frideswide to reflect upon her story and the journeys of the children themselves through school and life.'
