Stipendiary Lecturership in Medieval History

£24,853 - £27,462 (current rates) per annum, according to qualifications and experience

Fixed–term for two years ending 30 September 2027

Summary

Christ Church invites applications for a two-year fixed-term Stipendiary Lecturership in Medieval History. This is a part-time temporary, fixed-term position to fulfil a current teaching need for the period 1 October 2025 to 20 September 2027; therefore, the appointment carries with it no expectation of permanent employment at Christ Church.

The successful candidate will deliver nine hours of tutorial teaching per week, averaged over the three eight-week terms of each academic year.

Assistant Financial Accountant/Investments

University Scale Grade 7 currently £38,674 - £46,913 (with a discretionary range up to £51,059)

Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

Cathedral Safeguarding Officer

Fixed-Team (2 years) - Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week

Christ Church is recruiting a Cathedral Safeguarding Officer to lead on all aspects of safeguarding at Christ Church Cathedral, promoting culture change, raising awareness throughout the Cathedral community of staff, volunteers and worshippers of potential risks to children and vulnerable adults, and ensuring their welfare and protection.

Academic Officer (Student Funding)

University Scale Grade 5 Salary (currently £31,459 - £36,616 with a discretionary range up to £39,749)

Fixed Term to cover Maternity Leave between September 2025 – December 2026, 37.5 hours per week

Christ Church is recruiting a Digitisation Assistant who will be responsible for managing Christ Church Library’s digital content to support research, learning and teaching. The successful applicant will ensure that Christ Church Library provides its internal and external users with a digital library service, providing access to the Library’s digitised collections.

Graduate Scheme Development Associate

University Scale Grade 3, NSP 14 currently £26,948

One-year fixed term contract to start in September 2025, 37.5 hours per week

Christ Church is recruiting a Graduate Scheme Development Associate to join their Development Office.  The role provides an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate interested in learning more about the varied elements of a successful Development and Alumni Relations Office. The successful candidate will be exposed to a spectrum of fundraising activities, event delivery, alumni relations and stewardship, as well as key administrative functions.
