Journey to Bethlehem

On the feast of the Epiphany, we celebrate the manifestation of Jesus to the gentiles in the visit of the Magi. This day also marks the beginning of the liturgical season of Epiphanytide.

The Christmas and Epiphany season comes to a close with the Feast of Candlemas, when, 40 days after the birth of Jesus, we celebrate his Presentation in the Temple, and his revelation as 'a light to the nations and the glory of God's people'.
