Join us at Christ Church this spring as we celebrate Holy Week and Easter.

Beginning on Palm Sunday, there will be a number of special services taking place. Highlights of this year's worship include:

  • Our Palm Sunday Procession to the Cathedral, led by a donkey and singing hymns to brass accompaniment (pictured).
  • A free performance of James MacMillan's Seven Last Words from the Cross with the acclaimed chamber orchestra Britten Sinfonia on Tuesday 31 March
  • Our 'Journeying Through Holy Week' service for families on Good Friday (with hot cross buns and cocoa served after)
  • A full celebration of the ancient Sacred Triduum cycle of services, beginning on Maundy Thursday and concluding with the Easter Vigil on Saturday 4 April.

You can find out more about everything coming up on our dedicated Holy Week and Easter events page:
