Join us for a special service of Solemn Vespers to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Christ Church foundation.
This year, Christ Church is marking half a millenium since its foundation as Cardinal College by Thomas Wolsey. We pay tribute to the pre-reformation origins of the foundation with this Anglican service of sung Vespers. At the musical centrepiece is the world premiere of a new setting of the latin Magnificat by Errollyn Wallen CBE, the Master of the King's Music, alongside other pieces by significant figures from Christ Church’s musical past.
