Cathedral Team Jump For Joy with Jackson
We were delighted to meet Jackson Brown this week as part of his pilgrimage to jump for joy at every English Anglican cathedral.
Jackson, a 12-year-old chorister from Worcester Cathedral, began his journey in 2024 after a family day out to Lichfield Cathedral.
Jackson said to Worcester Cathedral: “I love music and find discovering the history of each cathedral really interesting. Being in cathedrals really makes me happy, so I decided to share that joy with others by jumping outside of them and posting on Instagram.”
He was joined in his efforts to leap for joy by the College Chaplain, The Revd Dr Kirsty Borthwick; our Operations Manager Joseph Denby; and our Head Verger Richard Owen.

Pilgrims are always welcome at Christ Church Cathedral, whether as part of a journey to every English Cathedral or to the Shrine of St Frideswide, which in 2024 became the origin point of a new Camino Inglés pilgrimage route to Santiago in the form of St Frideswide's Way.
