Harry Forster was born in Cardiff in 1899, the son of George Forster Martin and Edith Jane Welch Martin of “Sherwood”, 42 Newport Road, Cardiff. He joined the 1st Battalion, South Wales Borderers, gazetted 2nd Lieutenant on 23 April 1918, and died in September 1918.
