Christmas Tree Festival 2025

Enjoy Christ Church in a new way this Christmas with our sparkling Christmas Tree Festival.

Our trail of 15 trees will guide you through 1300 years of life on the Christ Church site, from our monastic past to the communities who make us who we are today. The festival is open to all visitors to Christ Church for no additional fee, and atmospheric guided tours of Christ Church by lantern light are also available by arrangement. The Christmas Tree trail will be officially opened with a short ceremony following our Cathedral Advent Carol Service on Saturday 29th November, which is open to all to attend for free with no booking required.
