Digital Health & AI for Maternal and Neonatal Care Hackathon

28 November
Hackathon
Oxford Edge, 37 St Giles

In many low-resource settings, women and newborns still die from complications that could be prevented. Long distances, paper-based records, unreliable connectivity and overstretched health workers make timely, coordinated care difficult to deliver.

Join us to build digital and AI-enabled solutions to these challenges, from maternal health and neonatal care to communication and continuity of care. Doctors from Vanga, DR Congo, will share case studies and first-hand experience of providing care in these conditions, giving you the context to build for the communities that rely on it.

The hackathon is open to students and staff from all disciplines, including computing, engineering, design, medicine and public health. No healthcare or coding experience is needed.

Saturday 28 November 2026, 9.30am to 6.30pm
