I was educated at University College London (BSc) and Balliol College, Oxford (DPhil). I then became a Research Fellow at St John’s College, Cambridge, after which I was a Roya Society Travelling Research Fellow at Stanford University. I was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, and an Early Career Research Fellow at the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics (DPAG), University of Oxford.
I teach Pre-Clinical Medicine.
My research focuses on information encoding in the brain. We integrate studies on learning and memory in the hippocampus with research into information processing in the sensory cortices.
