Academic Background

Edwin Simpson read law at Christ Church from 1985 to 1988 and the BCL in 1989.  

He is a member of Lincoln's Inn and was called to the Bar in 1990.

He was Junior Censor from 2003 to 2005 and Senior Censor from 2005 to 2007.

He is a member of the Steering Committee of the Oxford University Centre for  Business Taxation.
